Colorfly - Pocket Hi-Fi C4 Hi Resolution Portable Audio Player 32 Gigabytes with Micro-SD expansion slot.
Colorful's main goal is exceptionally simple, a portable player that allows the user to play high resolution files via a high quality audiophile DAC and components: up 24/192 WAV files can be played, along with up to 16/44.1 FLAC, APE and MP3 are all able to be played on your favorite headphone or use the built in DAC and output the music to your existing HiFi using the S/PDIF coaxial socket. The files can also be upsampled to 24/88.2, 24/96, 24/176.4, and 24/192. The Colorfly Pocket HiFi C4 Pro is a beautifully designed, easy to use high resolution audio player that is complately unique and sounds equally as impressive. Easily drag and drop your music on to the flash based 32GB built in Hard Drive or on to the micro SD card (Not Supplied). If you have a lot of FLAC files this player is perfect to grab and go.
The Colorfly Pocket HiFi C4 Pro is a portable upsampling music player that is able to offer levels of quality normally only found in High-End HiFi Systems. Using many specifically chosen components the Pocket HiFi C4 Pro far exceeds the quality found in many portable devices and offers true high quality music reproduction, able to play 24bit/192kHz audio files.
The Colorfly cannot currently play 24/96 or 24/192 .Flac files, however this is coming with a future firmware update.

The Colorfly Pocket HiFi C4 Pro is able to offer unprecidented quality for a portable device. With a Signal to Noise Ratio of 108dB, and clock jitter at just 5 picoseconds it offers exceptional musical reproduction and is on par with the latest of High-End Audio technology.

The outer casing material of the Pocket HIFI C4 player is made of black walnut sourced from North America. This gives each music fan a truely unique player as the real wood cover, which is finished in a smooth gloss surrounds the entire back panel of the HiFi C4 Pro.
Precision: it is hand made.
The Colorfly team chose to process the wood by using
specially designed machines in the constant temperature and humidity workshop so that the wood doesn't expand or contract when being used. The engraving and the special curve on the wood are all done by hand.
High Quality Output
The excellent 24bit/192KHz sound quality is largely down to the famous, single, high quality chipset that is used inside, the Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Converter ), which is a top-end DAC chip produces very high quality acoustics with a dynamic range of up to 120dB, as well as an extremely high decoding performance able to decode the 24bit/192KH format. Cirus Logic DACs are normally found in Chord Electronics equipment and Marantz CD Players.

A nostalgic way of adjusting the volume
The Colorfly uses the flagship series pro-audio series of the famous ALPS volume potentiometer from Japan. The dust cover and grounding connection were ordered according to the specifications set out by the designers of the Pocket HiFi player. This specific potentiometer was used as it enables the Pocket HiFi C4 Pro to adjust the channel volume in both channels accurately without a significant difference in levels between the left and right channels. The rate of the volume error was lower than 5% on average after 1,000 hours. The volume error rates of the HiFi player have been measured 15% lower than the official data supplied by ALPS.

Jitter Killer
The Pocket HiFi C4 Pro's complex chassis design and specific component selection means that it can offer the ultimate sound performance. Their patented "Jitter Killer" technology adds to the quality by using a TCXO high-precision crystal Oscillators and the CS8422 SRC chip from Cirrus Logic to output the unbelievable rate of jitter which is lower than 5ps.

Synchronising;
We suggest that you use Media Monkey to sync all of your songs with the Colorfly C4 for ease of use.
We have been using the Colorfly C4 for quite a while and have established that there are a few quirks with the device. We wish to let you know of these prior to us sending you the unit as there has been some conflicting information in recent press releases. The Colorfly C4 will not play high resolution .flac files. It will play .flac, however it will only play up to 16bit/44.1kHz. It will however play 24bit/192kHz high resolution .wav files. We have found that using Media Monkey is the best way to transfer your files to the Colorfly C4 so that they are in order when being played back. If you do have high definition .flac files that you would like to play on the Colorfly C4 then in order to convert to .wav we suggest using a freeware program called xrecode. With the current firmware there is also a small noise that can be heard between tracks that is due to be resolved with the next firmware update! After stating this we still remain with the opinion that the Colorfly sounds absolutely amazing and you will be thoroughly impressed with the sound reproduction.

Custom Cable use Royal Mail First Class delivery on all items below 2.0kg and are normally delivered to mainland UK within 2 days, however channel islands may take up to 3 days. We endeavor to dispatch on the same day , subject to stock availability. Delivery may be delayed if the order is a special order or has specific requirements.
For items that you require urgent delivery on, then you can select Royal Mail Special Delivery which aims to reach you the next day* (excluding UK offshore and the Highlands of Scotland) A signature will be required on delivery when using Royal Mail Special Delivery.

International Delivery
Custom Cable will use Royal Mail International Airmail worldwide for all items less than 2.0kgs. Items more than 2.0kgs can be sent using Parcel Force Worldwide, UPS or DHL. When processing your order we select which courier will get the order to you the fastest. If you wish to specify which courier to use then please let us know is the "Notes" section when checking out. For countries outside of the EU you may be required to pay state taxes or import duties. Unfortunately we are unable to cover these costs, so please be aware that you may be required to pay these.
For countries inside the EU delivery times are estimated between 3-7 working days and slightly longer for all countries outside of the EU.
Customers in certain countries are also able to choose Royal Mail International Airsure. Airsure® is generally a day faster than standard Airmail and can be tracked online. Which means the aim is:
- 2 working days after posting to Western Europe
- 4 working days after posting to Eastern Europe and postal subsidiaries (Islands and Principalities)
- 6 working days after posting to the rest of the world
