Building on the strengths of Vita Audio's award winning R2 the new R2i Tabletop Stereo embodies principles of performance and design in a beautifully crafted package that sounds and looks sublime.

With a new DAB/DAB+/FM tuner, universal iPod dock and auxiliary inputs, R2i is now a complete music solution and perfect for customers seeking high quality audio reproduction in small to medium sized settings.

The enclosure of R2i is machined and hand-crafted from materials chosen for their exceptional acoustic properties and finished in Rich Walnut veneer or Dream White and Midnight Black high gloss lacquers. These finishes combine perfectly with the cool steel panels and mesh grilles to create a tactile feel to match R2i’s elegant design. Our distinctive RotoDial controller sits atop of the unit making operation simple and intuitive.

The look of R2i exudes style, but sonically it’s equally impressive. Our custom made high-fidelity drive units and electronics with 3D sound processing provide a scale and quality of sound that belies the R2i’s compact dimensions. With our new tuner, DAB and FM performance is exceptional, but R2i is also ready to receive DAB+ transmissions making R2i a future-proof investment.

R2i also has other quality features that have been carefully considered. Our new high contrast display with large format clock makes time reading clearly legible even from afar. On the front panel a headphone socket along with a line input allows headphones and other audio devices to be easily connected. Usefully the volume of the headphones output is ‘remembered’ independently from the main volume, so whenever headphones are inserted the volume reverts to the users last selected level. On the rear panel we’ve provided two pairs of high quality gold-plated phono sockets. The first provides output for recording or hook-up to secondary systems and the second provides an additional input for the permanent connection of a CD/MP3 player or TV/DVD. Completing R2i is a compact remote control that enables all key R2i and iPod functions to be set and operated from the comfort of a chair or bed.
